Rosa parks had a great way of saying what she wanted to say in a different way. She explained her emotions about everything so well that at times I felt the same emotions as her. In the years following her retirement, she traveled to lend her support to civil-rights events and causes and wrote an autobiography, Rosa Parks: My Story. In 1999, Parks was awarded the I have known about Rosa Parks all of my life and recently read 7 Women by Eric Metaxas in which he honors her story. After that book (which was excellent, by the way), I had to read more about Rosa Parks and "Rosa Parks My Story" was recommended.
