This program is designed to cover a 6-week period: 1st week: Auditions, callbacks, casting, read-through after school. 2nd-5th weeks: Rehearsals after school for 2 hours, 4 days a week. The program is staffed by a mixture of Certified and Classified Rosa Parks staff and College aged staff with an interest in early childhood education. We will offer a prepackaged snack to students once they are in our care after school. Rosa Parks offers on-site after school program. ExCEL is offered on site through the Buchanan YMCA. Their program includes homework help, outdoor play, athletics and clubs. Cost: ExCel-Free/Reduced Meal appl. Qualifies for fee waiver. Others-Sliding scale. Many off-site programs also offer transport or walking escort from Rosa Parks. Rosa Parks After School Program is run by Target Excellence. Funded to serve Rosa Parks with After School Education and Safety (ASES) dollars, TE is dedicated to administering quality education programs (not just babysitting) that help kids to identify their vision.
