He never specifies anything else than "stopping your kind from rising above their station" or something like that. "Your kind" could easily mean "humans" in a show like Doctor Who. Rosa Parks is a real person and I think this episode did this whole topic a disservice. Rosa Parks and the civil rights struggle really didn't need the Doctor running around quipping and saving the day. That stuff usually doesn't bother me, but something about this one definitely rubbed me the wrong way. This season focuses too much on the time travel aspect. Look at how many episodes were solely earth based, heavy on time travel with actual events (Witch trials, Rosa parks, demons of Punjab), or just earth based and flat. I hated how the Doctor wouldn't stop gushing about how great Rosa Parks was when Rosa herself was busy being more of an object than a character.
