INSIDE: Rosa Parks Rocking Bus Craft is a fun and easy craft for kids. It’s a great activity to do during Black History Month or any time of the year to learn about important figures in history . I have created a lot of fun and easy crafts for many different holidays but I haven’t created any crafts for Black History Month. Kids will have to cut out the six photos and glue them in order. Rosa was born in Alabama. Rosa refused to give her seat to a white man on a bus. Rosa was arrested and sent to jail. Many people protested and the law was changed. Rosa received the Medal of Freedom. Rosa died at the age of 92. Rosa Parks craft and writing activity Quick Facts About Rosa Parks: Rosa Parks met and married her husband when she was 19 years old. They had no children. Rosa Parks wasn’t arrested just for sitting in a “whites only” section of the bus, but she was arrested for not moving seats when a white man wanted the seat she was in.
