Rosa Parks Circle is a plaza located in the heart of Grand Rapids, Michigan. [1] During the warmer months it is a multipurpose facility, acting as a venue for events like concerts [ 2 ] or dances put on by the Grand Rapids Original Swing Society (GROSS). [ 3 ] It's moved from a bustling retail center way back when, to the pedestrian mall of Monroe Center with it's amphitheater, to today's beautiful park-like setting with the ice skating rink in the winter, to a concert and event venue the rest of the year, known as Rosa Parks Circle.
